Fountain Hills (City-wide average home prices: $671,899)
Fountain Hills is surrounded by the McDowell Mountains, Scottsdale on the west, and the Fort McDowell Yavapai Nation on the east. Over the past seventeen years Fountain Hills has grown from 10,190 residents to a town of 25,995 in 2008, and projected to grow to over 35,000 in the coming years. The Town continues to attract residents who are building large custom homes to take advantage of the views surrounding the mountain community and the premier golf course. The town offers a wide range of living accommodations; from small condominium complexes to large custom homes.

Eagle Mountain neighborhood average: $820,024
Located on the border of Scottsdale and Fountain Hills, this community offers a gated entry and a premier public golf course.
FireRock Country Club neighborhood average: $1,663,973
FireRock is the first and only private country club in Fountain Hills. FireRock's 18-hole championship golf course, and renowned clubhouse, has become a magnet for golfers around the country. This community offers a range of custom homes from the mid 500’s to the millions.
Glendale (City-wide average home prices: $152,592)
One of the most established cities in the Phoenix area, the city is known for its historic downtown and central location. Glendale’s thin and long shape allows the city to reach far north into the upper middle class Arrowhead Ranch area.

It’s always nice to cruise your own private lake during the Christmas Season looking at your neighbors Christmas lights and decorations reflecting off the water.

A mostly middle class area near Arrowhead Ranch with good schools, a variety of sports for kids, and easy freeway access.
Paradise Valley (City-wide average home prices: $2,542,292)
Paradise Valley’s approximately 6,500 homes, all situated on one-acre plus lots with exceptional views, makes it one of the most exclusive luxury communities in the country. Located in the heart of Phoenix, the town is nestled between, Mummy Mountain, Camelback Mountain, the Phoenix Mountains, and Scottsdale.

The city of Peoria is working hard to become like Scottsdale but on the west side of the Valley Of The Sun. Shaped much like Scottsdale and Glendale, the long thin shape of the city allows it to stretch far to the north and encompass the Lake Pleasant Recreation Area, which is a favorite spot for locals to enjoy the outdoors. Peoria is a great city for families and includes some of the most desirable retirement communities in the country.

Vistancia neighborhood average: $248,728
Vistancia was built as a master planned luxury community in North Peoria, complete with its own waterpark and recreational center. Westwing Mountain is a master planned neo-luxury community in North Peoria, located close to major freeways. Located near the Desert Ridge mall, which is one of the largest high-end outdoor malls in the country. This community is a mixture of upper middle class and luxury homes.
Anthem neighborhood average: $192,996
Complete with its own waterpark, rock climbing wall, and recreation facilities, Anthem was designed as a private community for families who want to be away from the hustle and bustle of the city. Technically located in Phoenix, the City of Anthem is really just a name for an exclusive master plan subdivision.
Maryvale Terrace neighborhood average: $47,912
Mostly built in the 70’s, this area in Phoenix can be a great place to invest and lease properties.
Scottsdale (City-wide average home prices: $959,423)
Scottsdale, Arizona is bordered by Phoenix to the west and the McDowell Mountains on the east. It is annually rated among the nation’s most desirable communities to live in, visit and do business in. McDowell Mountain Ranch neighborhood average: $600,700
McDowell Mountain Ranch is an award winning 3,200 acre master-planned community situated in the foothills of the McDowell Mountains. This community is made up of 26 neighborhoods and offers its residents natural trails, narrow-cast cable TV station, Community Center, two heated pools and spas, children's playgrounds, tennis courts, picnic and green areas, as well as a private golf course.
Gainey Ranch neighborhood average: $503,700
This is a quiet gated community that covers 640 acres. It offers many different amenities including the private Gainey Ranch Golf Club, which includes three nine hole courses: The Lakes, The Dunes, and The Arroyo. All the neighborhoods in the Gainey Ranch area are connected by a series of trails and paths so you can walk or jog for miles. This neighborhood also offers a clubhouse with a pool and spa. Million dollar homes are very common in this community.
